MicroTech is the No. 1 Fastest-Growing Hispanic-Owned Business in the Nation, according to HispanicBusiness.com. MicroTech's 130% annual compounded revenue growth rate since being founded in 2004 pushed the company to the top of the list, along with an astounding 2693% revenue increase during the five-year period. According to HispanTelligence estimates, there were over 2.2 million Hispanic-Owned Businesses in the U.S., in 2008.

8(a) Business in the Nation
MicroTech is America's No. 1 Information Technology 8(a) Business in the Nation in 2009, after being ranked No. 2 in 2008. The Top 25 8(a) survey focuses on Small Disadvantaged Businesses around the country, certified under the Federal Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)).
CRN Magazine — No. 1 Fastest Growing "Unified Communications Solutions Specialist” in the Nation
In their first appearance on the national survey, MicroTech ranked first among the Fastest-Growing Unified Communications Solutions Specialist in the U.S. and ranks third among the Fastest-Growing Technology Resellers in the U.S. The industry list highlights system integrators with growth rates in excess of 55 percent. MicroTech grew almost 700% during the surveyed period. CRN also named MicroTech the Number One Fastest Growing "Unified Communications Solutions Specialist” in the country.
Deloitte — No. 1 Communications / Networking Small Business in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area
In their first appearance on the prestigious Deloitte Fast Growth Business survey, MicroTech ranked No. 1 among Small Businesses in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area which includes Central Maryland, Northern Virginia, and two counties in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. It is the most educated, highest-income, and fourth largest Combined Statistical Area in the United States. MicroTech also ranked No. 7 among companies in the eight state Mid-Atlantic region, and No. 62 among Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Life Sciences and Clean Technology public and private companies in the U.S. Region.
Federal Computer Week — Federal 100
MicroTech President & CEO Tony Jimenez has been named to Federal Computer Week's annual Federal 100 - "recognizing the top 100 individuals from government, industry and academia who significantly influence how the federal government buys, uses or manages information technology" in 2009. This is the second appearance on the prestigious list.

The spotlight is on MicroTech in the Washington Business Journal 2010 Book of Lists, focused on the hottest area companies in their fields. MicroTech is featured in four separate Top Businesses categories including, for the first time, two Top 10 Corporate Philanthropy lists based on charity giving and community involvement in Northern Virginia. It’s the second consecutive year that MicroTech has been selected for prestigious, national Fastest Growing Private Companies list. MicroTech ranked No. 176 overall, moving up 109 spots from 2008. Company ranks No. 24 among Government Services Companies.

MicroTech ranks third overall in the Washington Business Journal “Fastest Growing Companies 2009” — up five spaces from the 2008 survey. The annual list is calculated by three-year revenue growth and recognizes companies based in Northern Virginia, the District, and Montgomery and Prince George's Counties in Maryland. MicroTech averaged annual sales growth of over 201%.

MicroTech is named for second consecutive year to Top 500 Largest Hispanic-Owned Businesses in the U.S. MicroTech ranked No. 141 in 2009, up 263 spaces from 2008 rank of No. 404.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) — 2009 Veteran Champion of the Year
The Federal agency recognized MicroTech President & CEO Tony Jimenez as “Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year” for his commitment to the Small Business field. The local district office award covered the Washington DC Metro Area, and the states of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia. Tony Jimenez was selected for the high government honor because of his “hard work, expertise, and commitment to small business.”
Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (VAHCC) — 2009 Hispanic Entrepreneur of the Year
MicroTech CEO Tony Jimenez was awarded the Hispanic Business Entrepreneur of the Year by the Virginia Hispanic Chamber, during the annual Hispanic Gala recognizing a Who’s Who of Hispanic business leaders in the state.
Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) — "Celebration of Northern Virginia Business Success"
MicroTech was honored at a special local business event for their contribution in expanding and diversifying Northern Virginia’s business community. The event showcased a number of local businesses that are among the largest in their category or have grown quickly in the last several years. This was the second straight year that MicroTech was selected for the gala honor.
Veteran Business Journal — Vetrepreneur of the Year
MicroTech CEO Tony Jimenez was recognized as a leading Veteran Entrepreneur and his organization as a model of “small business excellence and innovation.” Criteria for MicroTech being selected included the number of employees, annual sales, percentage growth revenue from 2004 to 2006, and projections for future growth.
Coalition for Government Procurement — The GSA Most Successful Newcomer of the Year
MicroTech was named the 2007 recipient of the distinguished Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Award for Most Successful Newcomer by the Coalition for Government Procurement. The award is conferred upon a new contractor that has had the most significant gain in its General Services Administration (GSA) schedule business, and made significant contributions to the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) program.
