Job Summary:
Responsible for leading or supporting capture efforts related to the development of business in the Federal/Civil, DoD and/or Commercial markets and overseeing/supporting in the development of proposals. This position is responsible for reviewing, qualifying and developing strategies to capture business. Efforts include development and implementation of the win strategy, beginning with pre-Request for Proposal activities and continuing through written/oral proposal development, negotiations, award and transition. .
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will provide business development and marketing support for a MicroTech Business Unit focused on Federal Government IT Services. Highly motivated, detail oriented candidate will identify and qualify business opportunities in all stages of the business cycle and must develop strategies, plans, and actions to successfully manage pursuit of qualified opportunities. Successful candidate will execute exhaustive research and documentation efforts and be responsible to intelligently defend pursuits at all levels of the organization. Candidate will develop, draft, and execute capture plans, decision briefs, BU business strategies, monthly reports and participate in and/or lead proposal activities. Assist in merging technical capabilities to support of opportunities. Lead the teams pre-proposal capture activities and proposal development including comprehensive capture plans, identifying winning themes, and ensuring proposal content addresses the client's needs and requirements. Demonstrates knowledge of marketing and business development processes as well as MicroTech's services and capabilities. Provide qualified recommendations for expanding capabilities and entering new business areas via acquisitions and other means. Maintain system of tracking, decision-making and reporting on business opportunities throughout the life cycle, from concept to contract.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must be eligible to obtain U.S. security clearance
- Self motivated, Innovative leader, Strong communication skills, Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients, Strong analytical and problem solving skills, Ability to work in a team environment, able to drive others to reach consensus and collaboration.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Security clearance
