• Ensure availability and performance of the databases that support the system.
• Ensure high availability and optimum performance of the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases.
• Monitor the database to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Provide trend analysis to the service management team enabling them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.
• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team.

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle database and all associated technologies including performance optimization and tuning.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC / ASM / AQ / Data-Grid / Data Guard Technology & Oracle Enterprise monitoring systems.
• Expertise in data replication tools like – Oracle Streams, Shareplex, data-mirror etc
• Knowledgeable in state-of-the-art latest Oracle technology
