Network Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for someone with basic CISCO switch and router (more switches) hands on experience in a production environment. In particular, require moderate experience with both IOS and CAT/OS switches. If they have CISCO router experience that's a plus.

Major Activities include:

• Setting up switches out of the box
• Loading an IOS
• Adding configuration parameters for multiple VLANs, trunking, etc.
• Configuration of the Cisco switches on a weekly basis

Job Requirements

Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience in the related field is desired.
2 years experience in:

• CISCO switch configuration
• CISCO Cat and IOS switches
• LAN or network design
• Layer 2 or layer 3 configurations
