Job Description

• Perform administrative tasks to configure, deploy and sustain MOM 2005 in order to monitor and manage Information Technology assets.
• Support the configuration/implementation of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Servers.
• Resolution of MOM related technical issues.
• Performance and availability monitoring and management of MOM 2005 servers.
• Installation management and support of MOM 2005 management packs
• Support of MOM 2005 rules, alerts and reports.
• SQL Server 2005
• Installation and configuration of SQL 2005 Servers
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting database and application problems
• Database Maintenance plan - integrity checks, indexes, and optimization
• Installation of SQL Server service packs and patches
• Install and configure SQL Reporting Services
• Security/ Permission management
• Design and implementation and support of Backup/Recovery process
• Capacity planning and disaster recovery planning

Job Requirement

Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience in the related field is desired.
Deployment, Configuration, Implementation experience with MOM 2005 (Microsoft Operations Manager), Active Directory and SQL Server 2005
