Sr. Systems Programmer (Testing)

• Automate testing scripts for testing purposes using industries best practices
• Work with testers and instruct them on how to develop and operate the automated testing process independently on a step by step basis
• Utilize WinRunner and Quick Test Professional which are utilities used at SSA for testing automation
• Test data, store test data, store scripts and version the changes
• Utilize knowledge of DB2 to successfully develop automated testing scripts by interacting with the software sponsors to obtain specific information on using the data related to the applications
• Provides support in the Agency's evaluation of new tools for software distribution across a wide area network
• Train the CSSTB testing staff in use, modifications and development of the automated testing tools
• Support the testing efforts of the SSA Websphere software applications
• Support the testing efforts of the Client Server based software applications

Job Requirement

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience in the related field is desired
• 4+ years experience with WinRunner, Quick Test Professional, DB2, Websphere, testing scripts
