As a 8(a) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), MicroTech is committed to a diverse multicultural workforce, with a focus on hiring veterans – providing career opportunities to those that have proudly defended our country.

As a Service-Disabled Veteran himself, MicroTech President & CEO Tony Jimenez’ military service is never far away and, because of his experience, he measures his life’s work in the number of minorities and veterans he is able to inspire and assist in becoming successful business leaders and community contributors.

For the Veterans community, Tony Jimenez mentors other Service Disabled-Veterans, holding training seminars, and providing counseling on professional opportunities. He also is a lifetime member of the American Legion, Veterans For Foreign Wars (VFW), and Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Children's Inn at NIHTony Jimenez is also a notable leader in fundraising activities for numerous injured Veterans’ causes like the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. He sits on the Board of the National Economic Commission of the American Legion advocating for increased benefits for members and veterans. MicroTech lends countless hours of support to the American Legion’s “Heroes to Hometown” program – a transition assistance program for service members who were severely injured in the Global War on Terrorism.

“I had the pleasure of sitting beside the MicroTech group at [UFC “Fight Night 20”] on Monday night [January 11th, 2010].  I wasn’t part of the group but I would like to thank [MicroTech] CEO Tony Jimenez for what he did for the wounded soldiers. I spend some of my time at Walter Reed [Army Medical Center] in the Oncology Department and too often it seems these guys are forgotten.”– John Ondos
