Frankie Edgar nomiNated for ESPY Award

MicroTech sponsored Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar has been nominated for an ESPN ESPY Award for his upset victory over BJ Penn, April 10th at UFC 112.

One of the biggest upsets in UFC history, it was Penn’s first loss at that weight class since 2002. Frankie was sponsored by MicroTech during the now-classic championship fight. Now you can vote for him as the 2010 winner of the ESPY “Best Upset” Award.

The ESPY nominations were announced to the public on June 24th. The ESPYs are sports network ESPN’s annual awards show. Edgar is one of four nominees for the award.
